Beach Drive

This site is equal parts art and home. Each detail was meticulously thought-through and features a high level of expertise and artistry from all who contributed. With custom metal work by local blacksmith Jake James, and beautiful concrete design work by NZ builders, we were grateful to be able to put the soft touches around this home that help bring it to life! We focused on form textures that would complement the built elements while telling a story of their own. Structural evergreens and perennials fade into drifts of grasses that are set into movement by the oceanfront winds. The white Birch and the peeling bark of feature maple trees echo this dynamic interest through texture, form and colour. This build team was collaborative and worked closely with the clients to make this project truly unique, capturing the interest of all whom pass by.
